Culinary Leadership Position

We're seeking a talented culinary professional to join our food & beverage team at The Westin Yokohama. This hands-on position combines exceptional culinary skills with leadership responsibilities, reporting directly to the Banquet Chef/Executive Chef while collaborating with the entire F&B management team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring

  • Culinary expertise with at least 1 year of relevant experience

  • High school diploma or GED (2-year culinary degree preferred)

  • Strong food presentation skills and attention to quality

  • Experience in banquet operations or high-volume catering environment

  • Ability to lead and develop kitchen team members

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute banquet food preparation while supervising kitchen staff

  • Assist in menu development, purchasing, and production planning

  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation across all banquet offerings

  • Maintain food safety standards and control costs

  • Participate in daily event meetings and coordinate production schedules
